Features
DocuPipe. DocuPipe is document intelligence for applications. Parse covers OCR, tables, and checkboxes. Standardize maps those pages onto a schema you define. Extra services include classify, split, review, and email ingestion on paid plans. The homepage demo is a PDF becoming JSON, not a person copying a paragraph.
Photo to Text. Photo to Text is a converter you open in the browser. You copy text, download TXT or Markdown, or keep going into Word and Excel editors. Receipt, invoice, and bank statement pages exist for people who need a spreadsheet, not a webhook.
Pick DocuPipe when the destination is your app. Pick Photo to Text when the destination is a file on your desk.
Pricing
DocuPipe. Starter is free with full API access. Business is $99/month with overage at $0.08 per credit, email ingestion, and HIPAA BAA. Premium is $499/month. The common workflow is 1 credit to parse and 2 to standardize, or 3 credits per page.
Photo to Text. You start on the converter without an API key. Simple OCR is 1 credit per page. Advanced OCR, Word, and Excel are 10. Subscriptions start at $9.99/month. There is no SOC2 or HIPAA package, and no email inbox for documents.
DocuPipe prices production extraction. Photo to Text prices a person converting a photo.
Ease of use
DocuPipe. You create schemas, call Parse and Standardize, and inspect JSON. That is the right shape for a pipeline. It is the wrong shape if you only wanted to paste a scanned paragraph into email.
Photo to Text. Drop a photo or PDF, run Simple or Advanced OCR, then copy or edit. No schema, no SDK, no residency picker.
Use DocuPipe if you already have engineers. Use Photo to Text if you do not.
